Discover how laser hair removal is winning men over

It used to be that laser hair removal was a treatment largely performed on women. If men were getting their body hair removed, they were probably swimmers or cyclists.

But oh! How times have changed! The average man has decided to claim his place in the body hair grooming world - and health and beauty clinics like Bem Estar welcome them with open arms.

So why is laser hair removal specifically becoming more and more popular with men?

Shaving for men, unlike women, is usually a daily grind. Every morning they stand in front of a mirror and slap on the shaving cream. Many of them wishing they could have an extra 15 minutes in bed. Thanks to laser hair removal, they now can.

Laser is also the only way to effectively treat a condition called PFD: pseudofolliculitis barbae is clusters of inflamed, red, or dark bumps that appear around hair follicles from shaving. Essentially, they’re ingrown hairs that grow in all sorts of directions, which can leave scars.

And finally, as we know, men tend to be hairier than women. But it isn’t always about removing hair completely. Some men are looking to thin out their back or chest hair as opposed to permanent full hair removal. Laser technology is a great way to achieve this and create a more manageable hair structure.
