How does UltraHIFU work?

IPL is a type of light therapy that is used for many different kinds of treatments. From removing unwanted hair, to treating signs of aging, sun damage, acne, birthmarks, rosacea, broken veins and more. IPL is an extremely common type of treatment in our clinic.

How does IPL work?

IPL is a less focused treatment than laser, for example, as it penetrates down to the second layer of your skin without harming the top layer, so it causes very little damage to your skin. Pigmented cells in your skin can then absorb the IPL energy, which is converted into heat. This heat eliminates any unwanted pigment to clear up age spots, acne scars, rosacea or any other unwanted skin conditions. It can also be used to destroy the hair follicle and prevent the hair from growing again.
